This 8 electrode body composition monitor utilizes Tanita's exclusive bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA) technology and displays 19 readings, including 9 whole body and 10 segmental (arms, legs and trunk area) measurements, allowing you to see exactly how your body is responding to specific training and lifestyle changes.

From tracking body fat and muscle mass trends to recommending calorie intake and indicating hydration levels, this monitor helps you tailor your exercise and dietary requirements to achieve your goals. Up to 4 users can record and review their results, which are stored for 6 months.

The segmental analysis provided by the 8 BIA electrodes of the BC-603FS goes well beyond standard body composition monitoring, giving you a detailed review of what you're made of. Segmental analysis provides more information than standard body composition monitors by giving individual body composition readings for each body segment, including the trunk, right arm, left arm, right leg and left leg.

This unique product is especially useful for anyone who is monitoring the balance of the left and right side of the body or trying to build or rehabilitate a particular part of their body. The extra-large LCD color display is easy-to-read, and the retractable cord ensures the handset fits snugly into the main unit for easy storage.

The BC-603FS also includes an SD card feature for storage and transfer of body composition data, and is now compatible with HealthyEdge Software from Tanita. Users can take advantage of the free HealthyEdge Lite download with purchase or upgrade to HealthyEdge Plus (Unlimited Users) for an additional charge.

It's important to note that the FitScan series by Tanita is manufactured exclusively for North and South America, and the FitScan series is identified by the (F) at the end of the model numbers. Models without the (F) are manufactured for different parts of the world. The FitScan series of Tanita body composition monitors include gravitational algorithm correction for the Americas.
